So, where are you currently?

-
Do you find yourself constantly battling feelings of anxiety or depression?
-
Do you often feel like you're not good enough or struggle with low self-esteem?
-
Are you exhausted from trying to get yourself into a better emotional state, only to find temporary relief?
My clients often answer yes to at least one of these questions.
I Understand Your Struggle

If you’re reading this, I want you to know that I understand what you’re going through. The frustration of trying to think your way out of emotional pain and the fatigue from forcing yourself into self-care routines can be overwhelming. You are not alone in this journey, and there is a more effective and compassionate way to heal.

The Solution

For a long time, I struggled with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Like many, I turned to talk therapy and self-care routines, hoping to find relief. While these methods helped to some extent, I often felt drained and disheartened.

Then, one day, a conversation with a friend changed everything. He shared his deeply transformative experience with somatic therapy. Curious, I decided to give it a try—and that first session was a revelation. I realized that all that force was not really necessary. There is an easier, more natural, and effective way to create change - somatic therapy.

How Somatic Therapy Can Help

Somatic therapy opened my eyes to what created so much chronic stress in the first place and finally allowed me to let go of it and experience the deep relief.

This experience led me to pursue a Master’s in Somatic Psychotherapy, and I’ve been dedicated to studying and practicing this healing approach as a therapist in Denver ever since.

As a result of this work, my clients report feeling more:
-
calm
-
joyful
-
connected to themselves and the world around them
-
energized
-
clear about their emotions and needs
-
confident in regulating emotions

Why Somatic Therapy Works

Our subconscious mind controls 95% of our daily operations, while only 5% is governed by our conscious thinking brain. Our body is essentially our subconscious mind. This means that without getting our bodies on board, creating lasting change is incredibly difficult. When we try to force change using only our conscious mind (reading, thinking, talking), we are fighting against the vast power of our subconscious, making change elusive and energy-draining. Somatic therapy is effective because, instead of fighting the subconscious mind, it directly engages with and regulates it.
How I Can Help You

Somatic therapy might sound a bit "woo-woo," but it is very well-researched and proven to be an effective type of therapy. For people who have never experienced somatic therapy, it might seem complex and foreign. I want to reassure you that my approach is very down-to-earth and simpler than you might think. To give you a glimpse of my approach, here are a few elements I tend to incorporate with clients:
.jpg)
-
Connecting to Your Body and Subconscious: I help you notice where and how emotions show up physically — like tension in your jaw when you’re angry or warmth in your chest when you’re joyful. This brings clarity about what has become stuck in your system and what your system needs, ultimately helping you regain a sense of control.

-
Releasing Stress from Your Body: Through methods like Brainspotting, IFS, and EMDR, I guide you in practices that help your body release stress and shift back into a state of peace.

-
Mind and Body Integration: I help you align your thoughts and feelings, fostering lasting healing, while also equipping you to handle future stressors with greater ease.
